Cock-a-Doodle... After serving the farm with a home for the clucks, this 80 year old roost was originally imported from Canada shortly after WW2. Over the years, the chucks have kept generations of farmers with runny dippy breakfast eggs. Come home to Roost in this minimalist rustic experience. Powered by solar it's a hippies dream. Ommmmm...

Spaces

Events and Camping

With 80 acres available we have many possibilities for your party or gathering. Here are our main event spaces:

The Pond

This is our usual family camping space with 20 large tent pitches and 2 hard-standing pitches with electrical hook-ups. The Area benefits from a tree-lined pond and sculptured landscape. The Pond - private group camping

The Orchard

This is a compact area with 2 large tent pitches. The space also has its own water supply and electricity connection. You’ll be nestles between our apple and pear trees with close access to our toilets and shower facilities. The Orchard - private group camping

The Paddock

This is our largest event space and is suitable for numerous types of large events like wedding celebrations. The field shelters can be used as bars, catering, a disco or whatever your event requires. The filed is about 1 acre and can accommodate large tipi event tents and marquees while still having space for 40 normal tent pitches. The Paddock - private group camping

The Croft

This is a new addition and is a clearing in the old farmhouse grounds. Don’t like camping? We have 4 cabins with real beds and mattresses. There are 3 doubles and a single cabin. The Croft - private group camping
