Camping for BBC Radio 2 in the Park 2024
Camping is available at Smithills Campsite for tents, vans and motorhomes.
Smithills Campsite is a pop-up venue on the West of Preston and only 2 mins drive from the new J2 of the M55 motorway. The postcode is PR4 0RN.
The site is on a non-working farm and benefits from a complimentary event space that will be serving late night refreshment on the 6th, 7th and 8th of September 2024. The event space is open to the general public on the Saturday afternoon and tickets must be purchased in advance for any guest that are not already camping on the farm.

Directions: 7 miles and a 16 minute drive
- Take the A6 North from Moor Park, towards Lancaster and signs for the M6.
- Join the M6 at Broughton, following the signs for M55 Blackpool.
- Exit the M55 at Junction 2 and follow the signs for Lea Town

Preston hosted BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in 2007, and last year Radio 2 in the Park was held in Victoria Park in Leicester featuring headliners Tears for Fears and Kylie Minogue, who performed her world exclusive full concert performance for the first time in four years.
